Official Launch!

Something wonderful is coming to Killarney this summer - and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it. The brand-new Summer in Killarney Festival is launching in June, and it promises to be a truly special celebration of everything that makes this town so unique: its culture, its community, its landscape, and its warmth.

Running throughout the summer season, the festival will bring a packed programme of Chamber-curated events and partner events to the heart of Killarney - welcoming families, locals, visitors, and international guests alike. Think outdoor entertainment, live music, theatre, cinema, parades, and family-friendly fun, all set against the backdrop of Killarney’s world-famous landscape. Festival Chair Diarmuid Leen puts it best: “Killarney has always been a place where nature, culture and hospitality come together naturally. This festival is about celebrating that spirit and creating unforgettable summer experiences for visitors and locals alike.”

Festival highlights include:
• Spectacular parades through the town - 7pm on 25th June and 5pm on 20th July
• Large-scale outdoor cinema with a live DJ set from Spin SW
• A Gavan Ring recital on 3rd July in St Mary’s Church of Ireland
• Theatre, cultural events, and family programming for all ages
• A series of outdoor evening events with limited capacity - book early!

The official programme launch takes place on 08 June, with cinema tickets and theatre events going on sale as part of the launch campaign.
