Golfers Encouraged To Enter First Kerry Mental Health Association Charity Golf Classic
KERRY Mental Health Association has announced details of its inaugural charity golf classic at Beaufort Golf Club on Friday 31st July 2026.
Golfers are encouraged to enter the event from which the proceeds will help purchase transport for local mental health day centres and fund the roll out of mental health educational activities in Kerry.
The entry fee for Teams of 4 is €400 with tee-times available from early on the morning onwards on Friday 31st July – an ideal start to the last Bank Holiday Weekend of the summer.
The General Manager of Kerry Mental Health Association, John Drummey, said,
“This golf outing on Friday 31st July at Beaufort Golf Club is not only a fundraiser but more importantly, an awareness-raiser. A mission of Kerry Mental Health Association is to support people in Kerry with mental health challenges, their families and carers. Our fundraising activities are essential to achieving our vision to foster good mental health and better inform society about how to take care of its mental health. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding the cost of a ‘bus’ for a local mental health day centre and the roll-out free and affordable mental health educational activities. We are encouraging golf enthusiasts from Kerry and beyond to enter and have an enjoyable day out.”
To enter a team, sponsor a tee and/or green or a raffle prize, contact John Drummey at John@KerryMentalHealth.ie or phone 083 2032742.
The best two scores will count on holes 1 to 17, and three scores to count on the 18th hole with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as Nearest The Pin and The Longest Drive.
“We would be truly grateful for your support and participation on a day that promises excellent golf and an opportunity to directly enhance mental health services and support in our community,” said John Drummey.
